While the atmosphere at The Bear's Paw was delightful and the staff were genuinely friendly, the food didn't quite hit the mark—especially the lukewarm turkey during the festive meal. it was nice to enjoy our time there, but some aspects need improvement.

We spent a night in a cozy superior room and loved sipping coffee while admiring the lovely views. The garden area was perfect for unwinding with a good book or enjoying a chat on the terrace. The only hiccup was some noise from the air conditioning units outside, but it didn’t spoil our stay. 🌼

Couple looking for a cozy escape
So me and my wife checked in for a weekend getaway and honestly the vibe was perfect the moment we walked in the staff greeted us with smiles and immediately we felt at home Our room was beautifully decorated with a separate seating area and comfy sofa it really was a step above what we expected.

Superior Double Room offered a decent amount of space and presented a cozy feel. The location felt just right—quiet, with easy access to nearby points of interest where a bit of adventure could be found.
The room's temperature turned into a bit of a sauna at night thanks to a towel rail that didn't seem to have an off option. Navigating the stairs presented a challenge for someone with poor visibility, as the middle step lacked a black edging strip, making it easy to misjudge. The occasional creaking of the floorboards on the way to the bathroom at night created a bit of an unwelcome soundtrack during the stay. If I’m being picky, I'd prefer a quieter dining area as well—first night's bustling atmosphere wasn't quite my style.
